I looked in my books and maps if this valley had a special name and I have not found anything. I decided that the name “Valle dei Laghetti (Valley of the Lakes)” could be appropriate given the series of lakes that dot the bottom of this valley. The various lakes are not all visible in photos but a short walk can be very rewarding to see it. The Sibillini Mountains are certainly full of beautiful landscapes. But one of the features that fascinates me most of these mountains, is the series of sharp ridges that follow each other, share about 2,000 metres, joining together some of the highest peaks. Sharp ridges, steep, exposed, but at the same time sweet and delicate, covered with herbs and flowers. In this period, then the green color of summer gives way to yellow and brown of autumn. Mamiya ha annunciato nuovi dorsi per la sua macchina medio formato M645AFDIII. In particolare il modello DM22 che avrà 22megapixel, 44×36mm, ISO 50-800, 16bit per colore (modello DM28 con 28megapixel, 48×36mm, ISO e profondità colore come per il DM22).
In attesa di vedere la qualità di questi sensori, la cosa più importante di questo annuncio è la notevole riduzione del prezzo dei dorsi medio formato.
Adobe ha reso disponibile gratuitamente la release 3 del software Photoshop Lightroom. Pur essendo in versione beta, è pienamente funzionante e continuerà ad esserlo finchè non uscirà la release definitiva prevista per la primavera 2010.
Annunciata la Epson la Stylus Pro 3880 stampante formato A2 (17″) con 8 inchiostri pigmentati Ultrachrome K3 (già usati sui modelli 7880/9880). Andrà a sostituire il modello Stylus Pro 3800, ormai in commercio da quasi 3 anni.
